Dr. Wong has also lived in Chicago and Washington DC where she worked in multi-disciplinary MD/OD practices and worked closely with the doctors that helped pioneer laser vision correction. In these practices she specialized in corneal diseases, dry eye, pre and post operative care of LASIK and cataract surgeries, and customized contact lens fittings. She worked closely with keratoconus, corneal ectasia, and corneal dystrophy patients. Dr. Wong has extensive experience fitting scleral, gas permeable, and many more specialty contact lenses.
She recently moved from South Dakota where she started a successful dry eye clinic where she provided a variety of treatments including LipiFlow. She also practiced primary eye care along with co-management of cataract and LASIK patients.
Dr. Wong has served as a consultant and lectured for Alcon, Bausch and Lomb, CooperVision, RxSight, and Visionary Optics.
Dr. Wong and her husband reside in Plymouth with their two daughters. She enjoys competing in crossfit competitions, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Wong provides light treatments on all of my Light Adjustable Lens (LAL) patients. She is a true talent and now among the most experienced with this novel technology in the Midwest.
Together, we treat the most challenging post— LASIK, PRK, and RK patients wanting a full-range of uncorrected vision, without quality compromise, with their cataract surgery. It’s Dr. Wong who plays the most critical role in communicating, refracting, and delivering the most accurate LDD light treatments comfortably for the patient.
Patients have been thrilled with their results and experience, and I remain excited offering this technology knowing they’re in the best of hands with Dr. Wong.
